We were tool and die makers before we were stampers and assemblers. Our depth of knowledge in the tooling trade allows us to run any die that arrives at our dock no matter what its condition.

History

Based in Detroit, Michigan since the late 1950’s and originally founded by A.H. Schaupeter Engineering Co. and Ronart Industries,  our company has been dedicated to tool and die design, build and manufacturing of metal stamped components for more than 60 years.

Purchased by Tranor Industries in 2009, the facility was re-energized to serve the transportation and defense segments.  A wealth of knowledge and decades of trade experience possessed by past Ronart employees was integrated to form our new team.  Tranor Industries brings a fresh approach to the company backed by a tradition of quality, knowledge and expertise.

Facility

Tranor occupies over 200,000 square feet between two buildings along an industrial corridor just south of Chrysler’s Warren assembly plant. One building is dedicated to die storage. The second is dedicated to manufacturing.

Equipped with 23 presses ranging up to 2750 ton with a 220” bolster, multiple high tonnage cranes, large machining centers, laser cutting capability, blanking line with washer, assembly/welding capability and a full service tool and die department.
